Visiting Spruce

Open House
On Saturday, November 2nd, we will host an Admissions Open House where you will meet Darlene Huson, Director, Leslie Rhodes, Assistant Director, our classroom teachers, and current parents who will be available to share their insights and answer any questions that you may have. Children are absolutely welcome to attend this fun and festive event. While an RSVP is not necessary, it would be great for us to know that you are planning to attend. Please click HERE to do so.
Family Visit
After the Open House, the online calendar will be available so that you may schedule your Family Visit - you may also call us to schedule the visit if it's easier. The visit is an integral part of the application process and gives you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the school.

Applying to Spruce

Entry Points
The Acorn class, which serves children 2-2.9 years as of September 1st, is not the only entry point at Spruce. The Willow class, which serves children ages 2.10-mid-threes, is also an entry point. Each year, about half of the new students at Spruce enter the Willow year. We often have one or two openings in the Maple (older 3s- young 4s) and Oak (Pre-K) classes as well.
Tuition
We strive to make Spruce affordable for every family. Tuition assistance is available to all qualified applicants. Tuition is due in two installments, the first before July 15, and the second before December 15. Your deposit is deducted from your second-half tuition payment. Payment plans are available upon request.
