Visiting Spruce

Open House
Each November, we hold an open house. We hope that you can join us to meet Christie Guevin, Director, Leslie Rhodes, Assistant Director, our classroom teachers, and current parents who will be available to share their insights and answer any questions that you may have.
Family Visit
After the Open House, the online calendar will be available so that you may schedule your Family Visit - you can also call us to schedule the visit if it's easier. The visit is an integral part of the application process and gives you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the school.

Applying to Spruce

Entry Points
The Acorn class, which serves children 2-2.9 years as of September 1st, is not the only entry point at Spruce. The Willow class, which serves children ages 2.10-mid-threes, is also an entry point. Each year, about half of the new students at Spruce enter the Willow year. We often have one or two openings in the Maple (older 3s- young 4s) and Oak (Pre-K) classes as well.
We strive to make Spruce affordable for every family. Tuition assistance is available to all qualified applicants. Tuition is due in two installments, the first before July 15, and the second before December 15. Your deposit is deducted from your second-half tuition payment. Payment plans are available upon request.
